If you can't afford Mount Everest, know that America offers some of the most adventurous terrain in the world. If you're searching for an adventure quest, Arizona is a wonderful place to visit. There are tons of tours adventure in the Grand Canyon. You can even go white water rafting or find another location to go sky diving.
I prefer the Grand Canyon for an adventure quest. Once you get yourself a tour guide, you can get yourself familiar with the landscape and trek it for yourself. Grand Canyon is certainly one of the wonders of the world with its majestic mountains and deep crevices.
Another place to have an adventure quest is Sedona. However, Sedona is more of a mild adventure quest. They have wonders, such as supposed vortexes and even have Oak Creek, a shallow little creek that runs through Sedona that tourists frequent. Sedona is a wonderful place because it's got both tourist shops and the great outdoors, all nestled into one little town. The energy in Sedona is certainly one that is relaxing. You can hike up Bell Rock and other various hiking areas.
