Adventure Quest - High Altitude Mountain Biking for the 4th of July |
| 6/25/2007 8:20:00 AM |
It doesn't matter if you want to learn how to ride a mountain bike, compete in single track or freeride races, or just have a good time riding a chair lift uphill and pedaling your bicycle back down, this adventure quest has got you covered. Some high-country resorts in the East and the West have hundreds of miles of off-road biking trails, bike parks, instruction and excellent lodging packages available. So what if there's someone in your group who has no interest in riding a bike. Winter Park, Copper, Whistler, Mount Snow and the other resorts all have lots of other adventure quest and activities, too. Adventure quest mountain bikers like to wrap summer vacations around clinics, tours adventure and race events at ski-turned summer resorts. There are a few all-day or longer clinics and special events around which to plan a trip. These adventure quest travel trips are for the summer of 2007, but if what a resort has to offer sounds appealing to you check next spring when these resorts will start listing clinics and tours adventure for summer 2008. Most of these resorts have many miles of tours adventure and of mountain biking trails and links to other trails in the region, plus clinics ranging from short ones for first-timers testing out the sport, to riders comfortable on single track and in bike parks. This adventure quest is yours for the taking! |
