I've planned, executed, and lived my own adventure quest adventures many times over. I've had a list of things I wanted to do, and I've gone on my own adventure quest and gone out there and done many of them. I've climbed mountains, just to get to the top. I've planned my own adventure quest to get an adventure of my own making and traveled to South and Central America to get to know the people and the culture. I've planned underwater adventures and gone scuba diving extensively in the Caribbean and the Bahamas. I've done my own adventure quest and gone exploring over and near the Arctic circle just because I'd never been there before. Some of the adventure quest expeditions I plan are for a specific reason (a certain shipwreck I've researched and read about) or a non-specific reason (just because I've never been there before), but all of them have been worth the effort, the time, and the money. Because, when I'm old, I want to sit around and have memories to think about, not a pile of money to look at.
